Getting Ready

Hey everybody,

This is the first entry in my new blog about my trip to Madagascar. So that all of you can be kept updated on what is going on. I will try to update it as much as possible. I am so thankful for those who have supported me in this trip prayerfully and/or financially.

The reason the name of this blog has to do with vanilla is that Madagascar is known for its excellent vanilla. I personally think that they are the best in the world. =D

I now only have ten days until i leave so I'm starting to get all the last minute things done. One major one of making sure i have everything. lol It is definitely more complicated to go to Madagascar then France.

for one you have to make sure you have all the right vaccines.

then ways to protect yourselves agains milaria....

milaria pills..yep

mosquito net..yep

42 cans of bug spray..yep

electrip super mega fly swatter...yep

giant bubble suit so no bug can touch my skin...yep

ok so maybe that is over exagerating a little bit...but you get my point...

prayers would be appriciated for all the last minute details of getting ready to go...
